This place is situated in a very nice residential area, offering some wonderful views of the surrounding scenery. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and the housekeeping team ensured that our room was always spotless. We were impressed by the range of amenities available, including ironing facilities, a sitting area, and a terrace with comfortable garden furniture. The room itself was well-equipped with towels, a sink, and free toiletries. We also appreciated having an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV for our convenience. The carpeted floors added a touch of warmth to the room, and the dining bar/lounge area provided a relaxing space to unwind. The hotel went above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs with special menu options. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities, including a sun terrace and a garden area, as well as a TV room where we could relax and enjoy some downtime. I recently spent a weekend at a small country house hotel in a peaceful residential area. the hotel was full of friendly guests, including some who were participating in a European Croquet Tournament. the hotel owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the room I stayed in was beautifully furnished and the bed was so comfortable with a firm mattress. One of the best aspects was the freshly cooked breakfast, with plenty of options to choose from. the hotel also had a well-stocked bar where I could enjoy a drink in the evenings. the location was great, with a nearby bus stop and easy access to coastal, river, and moorland scenery.

If I had to mention a downside, it would be the absence of a desk in the room for placing a computer. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall positive experience I had at the hotel.

The free WiFi worked faultlessly and breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. The short walk into town for restaurants and pubs was convenient, and having off-street parking was helpful. Despite the small size of our room, it was not cramped and had ample storage and good mirrors. We cannot fault The Long Range and will definitely return.
