Friendly staff, brilliant menu, good ale, central location, lovely riverside walks/park/shops nearby, close to other towns & tourist attractions. Lovely well-kept town, England as it should be. Owners and staff went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, top-class hospitality. Continental style breakfast available in the room. Excellent food choice and quality. Lovely decor in the room, comfy beds, big fluffy towels, powerful shower, complimentary toiletries. Fabulous breakfast. Good location with parking.

I recently stayed at The Manners Pub With Rooms for a short break in the Peak District. The rooms were spacious and the wifi connection was excellent. I loved the nice bathtub and the fact that the room had a fridge stocked with milk. The hotel also provided coffee and tea facilities. The location was great, just a few blocks from the town center. The owners were very friendly and the hot and cold breakfast was delicious.

the manners pub with rooms in bakewell was even better than my previous stay. the friendly staff advised us on places to visit and the best beer to try. it had a lovely local atmosphere, and the location was convenient. the food was good, and we enjoyed the monday quiz.

It was central to everything we were there for, including the Christmas market, which was a lovely experience. The hotel facilities were great, with a proper ensuite bathroom in our room that had a bath and a shower. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the bed was comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The breakfast was absolutely first class, with lots of choice and cooked to order. We also appreciated having an on-site parking option.
