I loved staying at this posh manor house with a beautiful garden and free WiFi. The breakfast options were fantastic - continental or vegetarian, take your pick! And I didn't have to worry about parking, thanks to the free private parking.

Oh, how delightful it was to inhale the refreshing scent of cigarette smoke wafting through the floorboards and hallway. So invigorating!

This hotel is a beautiful old building with a lot of character. The owners are friendly and passionate about the history of the area, and they are always willing to share interesting stories. The rooms are comfortable and well-decorated, with a lovely garden to enjoy. The bathroom, although not en-suite, is conveniently located next to the bedroom and is of high quality. The hosts provide homely touches to make your stay enjoyable, and the location is perfect for exploring Somerset's charming villages.

The only small drawback is that some parts of the historic building are currently being used as storage and are not accessible to guests.

The breakfast offered a wide range of cereals, yoghurt, juices, tea. They also had homemade jams and a variety of teas and herbal teas, which were great for vegetarians and vegans. The owner was attentive to our needs and the bed was very comfortable. The quiet location ensured a good night's sleep. The Manor House itself was beautiful and full of character.

We felt cared for and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and accommodating owners.

Welcoming hosts, informative about location, beautiful historic building, homely touches, nice atmosphere, great for touring Somerset.
