The Market House Reading is a great place to stay in the center of town. It is conveniently located close to all the shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel is also next to the train station, which is very convenient for travelers. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with powerful hot showers and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel also offers a variety of facilities, such as a coffee machine in the rooms and a lovely seating area on the 20th floor.

One downside is that there is no wardrobe in the room, so there is nowhere to hang your clothes.

Had a good time on my Easter trip. the coffee and tea service was much appreciated, and the staff was kind to me. the location was very convenient, as there were many restaurants and shops nearby.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the town. The rooms are full of character and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. I loved the quirky touches, like the yoga mat and Nespresso coffee machine in the room. The high pressure shower was a great way to start the day. The central location made it easy to explore the nearby shops and restaurants.

The rooms were funky and large. Coffee machine was excellent. The staff was great, especially the girl on the second night who helped us enormously by finding me another room to sleep in when I asked for an extra blanket for the futon because I couldn't sleep as I found the bed too hard. She went above and beyond and I was very grateful. The style of the room was very modern and comfortable. Secure baggage hold was available. Liked the size of the room and bathroom - it was much bigger than expected. Reception had refrigerated cold water available which was a nice bonus. The room had a Nepresso machine and a kettle with different teas available. Excellent location - couldn't be closer to the city centre. The hotel was perfect for my needs, I was travelling on an early flight to Gatwick and the hotel is about 400 meters from the train station. Thought has gone into the design and furnishing of the rooms, so they are not just "standard" hotel rooms. Even if you are only there one night it is a nice touch. I loved the styling of the room, not your usual bland modern hotel at all. I even had a yoga mat! High quality tea and coffee provided in the room and coffee maker. Fresh milk if you wanted it from a fridge by reception. Lovely big shower with good water pressure. Good non-slip flooring in the bathroom which was a good size. Comfy bed, lots of pillows and cushions. Good-sized TV. Very friendly staff. The location was perfect for me. Centre of Reading. I arrived by train and it was only a very few minutes walk to the hotel. Plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants close by. I expected a bit of noise because the rooms are above the large bar/restaurant. I was on the 2nd floor and apart from the Friday night when there was some sort of party going on it was quiet in my room.

There is no peaceful, quiet area in the hotel, as there is constant music and people shouting over it.
