the martlet inn in wellington was even better than my previous stay. the food was excellent, with a generous and affordable breakfast. the staff were friendly and the room was quiet and comfortable. the location was ideal, between the town of wellington and the more rural areas of milverton and wiveliscombe.

A dressing gown hook in the bathroom would have been nice.

We had a wonderful stay at the Martlet Inn! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pub itself is located in a beautiful, historic setting. Our accommodation was tastefully decorated and we were lucky to have a spacious room with a stunning view of the countryside and beer garden. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like local tea, coffee, and milk. The large smart TVs with Netflix were a great addition too. And let's not forget the superb breakfast - it was delicious and the staff couldn't have been nicer. a fantastic experience!

During our stay, we found the location of the hotel to be perfect for our needs. Being situated in a charming village, it provided us with a serene atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the food served in the restaurant was exceptional, both the main meals and desserts were delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure our comfort. our room had a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a wonderful view of the beautiful countryside.

The hotel lacked some basic amenities that would have made our stay more convenient. Specifically, there was no shower gel provided in the bathroom, which was a small inconvenience.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming inn in the Somerset countryside. The Martlet Inn exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, polite, and incredibly helpful. They even went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, upgrading me to a fabulous room due to a minor issue with my original one. The dinner and breakfast at the inn were exceptional, with delicious food cooked to perfection. The bed was comfortable, the room was not too hot, and I had one of the best sleeps away from home. my experience at the Martlet Inn was outstanding, and I can't thank the staff enough for their outstanding service.
