Stayed in Marlborough recently. LOVED the café breakfasts along the street - delicious choices! Staff super friendly. Noise from main road was a downside. Would come back. Photos don't do justice.

We loved the character-filled room with beautiful Laura Ashley furniture. the village was picturesque with plenty of dining options nearby. the complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch. the large HD TV with Netflix was a bonus. the cozy atmosphere made our stay enjoyable. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.

The kids absolutely loved the spacious room, filled with games and toys to keep them entertained for hours. The friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Cons: My wife says that it would have been even better if there was a dedicated play area for the children to burn off some energy.

We arrived in the charming town late on a Wednesday afternoon and found the hotel conveniently located on the high side at a reasonable price of 85 £. The room we were given was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a deep bath that was perfect for relaxation. The service provided by the friendly staff was commendable. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at an excellent café further along the main street.

We were disappointed to find that the parking situation was complicated and not as promised on the website.

We had a delightful stay at the Merlin. the location in the heart of a charming village was so convenient. We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgraded to a double room with a spacious bath and a comfortable bed. the room, although compact, had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated in an 18th-century style. the friendly receptionist, Nick, was incredibly helpful with food options and navigating the parking situation. We also enjoyed the 10% discount on breakfast at a nearby cafe.

the staff were fab, and the beds were super comfy. the room we stayed in was beautifully decorated in an 18th century style, with attractive fabrics and lovely white cotton sheets. the location was perfect, right in the middle of a lovely town, close to all amenities including a fantastic Italian restaurant and shops. the proprietor couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We enjoyed opening our window to the view of the handsome High Street with its pink geranium-filled window boxes. a truly delightful experience.

Although there was no kettle, we appreciated the provision of a free bottle of water. the room also had a large HD TV with Netflix. the village where the hotel is located is picturesque, with plenty of nice pubs and restaurants on the main road. the Merlin is just a 10-minute drive away from Avebury.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The location was really easy for us due to working across the road and being on the main High Street. The service from the staff was friendly and informative, making us feel very welcome. The hotel provided excellent cafeteria services in-house, which was perfect for us as we didn't have to go far for a delicious meal. The room amenities were great, with heating, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV. The room itself had a cozy feel with a carpeted floor. the hotel provided a comfortable and convenient stay for us.

I would highly recommend this place to family and friends.
