The basins in the bathrooms could have been cleaner, possibly due to the age of the fixtures.

I had the penthouse flat with a stunning westward view of the Montrose Basin at sunset. The host was friendly and shared interesting stories about the tower's renovation. The furniture was unique and handcrafted by the host. The living space, kitchen, and bedrooms were perfect. The owner catered to all my needs and provided a warm welcome with a dram of whisky. The property was very quirky and had amazing rooftop views. The host thought of everything, from providing stocked fridges and a drinks cabinet to a generous breakfast supply. The location was convenient, with shops and the town center nearby.

Best aspects of our xmas stay were the warm and comfortable beds, perfect for snuggling up on those cold winter nights, and the well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to cook a delicious holiday feast. He provided fully stocked cupboards and fridges upon our arrival, ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was great, with easy access to beautiful beaches and nature reserves. We were also able to visit nearby towns and enjoy delicious seafood and local attractions. The hotel facilities were top-notch, from the quirky lift to the octagonal living space. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. we highly recommend this place for a memorable stay.
