Transportation was also convenient, with various options available for exploring this city.

I absolutely loved my stay at Mount Royale. The helpful staff made my wife's birthday so special by organizing a delightful 7-course meal in the Oxo restaurant, complete with a birthday cake and everyone singing "Happy Birthday." The suite we stayed in was spacious, clean, and had unlimited free wifi. Despite the 80s décor, the plumbing and electrics worked perfectly. The breakfast was wonderful, and I highly recommend trying the boiled eggs and soldiers. The hotel is in a great location, just a pleasant walk into the city of York. I had a superb experience and I will definitely be recommending this hotel to others.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was fantastic. The prices were reasonable for a hotel of this caliber, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the property. The location just outside the city centre of York was perfect, as it provided a peaceful setting in beautiful gardens, yet was still within walking distance to all of the city's attractions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with lovely views of the garden which is a secret gem. The basic amenities were all present, including two double beds and a well-maintained bathroom. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay.
