I recently stayed at the charming Mytton And Mermaid hotel for a few nights. The location was perfect, with a picturesque view of the river and the added bonus of being opposite a lovely National Trust Property. The building itself oozed history and had plenty of hidden corners to explore. Our spacious and cozy room had a wonderful view over the river, and the unique feature of the bathroom being accessed by a short stairway was a delightful touch. The garden outside was a great spot to unwind, with tables, sofas, and chairs available all day, and the warm weather made it even better.

The breakfast options were superb, with delicious vegetarian/vegan choices available. the hotel offers facilities such as a bar and a courtyard for guests to unwind and socialize. The only downside was the need for some renovation in certain areas.

The room amenities were top-notch, including ironing facilities, a cozy sitting area, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. I was also pleased to find free Wi-Fi in the rooms, allowing me to stay connected during my stay.

I recently had a pleasant stay at a charming hotel located right on the river bank. The location was fantastic, as it was situated opposite the National Trust gardens and next to a historic church. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and great views. The service was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious with options like eggs Royale and a full English. I also enjoyed exploring the beer garden and seating areas by the beautiful river.

If we had more time, we would have loved to explore the area more and take a walk along the riverbank. Our room was clean and bright, providing a comfortable space to relax after a long day of traveling. The service from the staff was exceptional, they were polite and accommodating. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, with perfectly poached eggs and smooth hollandaise sauce.

The lack of a smoking-free area near the entrance, which made it inconvenient for non-smoking guests.

We had a great stay at this hotel, located on the River Severn and close to Attingham Park. The staff were friendly and helpful, welcoming both us and our dog. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and comfortable, with a big bathroom and fluffy towels. The breakfast was delicious and the views of the river were superb. We also enjoyed the stylish restaurant and efficient service.

There was a bit of a wait to be seated for dinner, which was a bit frustrating.

my previous stay in shrewsbury was amazing, but my time at the riverside hotel was even better. the room had a stunning view of the river and bridge, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. ample parking was a bonus too!

The location of this country pub/small hotel was absolutely idyllic, right next to a beautiful river. the setting was peaceful and picturesque, perfect for a relaxing holiday. the hotel also had a great outside garden, which was a lovely bonus, especially with the good weather. the food at the hotel was excellent in terms of both quality and value for money.

One drawback was that the breakfasts started quite late, at 7:15, which was not very convenient for a traveling executive like myself. It would have been better to have an earlier option available.

The hotel was in a great location, with lovely views of the river from some private gardens. the woodburner in the lounge and bar downstairs were welcoming, especially during the Xmas period. the locally sourced food was of high quality, and the menu for dinner on Christmas Day was fantastic.

Sadly, the hotel was old and creaky, and the noise from the room above us woke us up early every morning. the main dish of the salad was missing, and we got a serving of the olive/pickles mix instead, which we had already ordered.

The food was excellent, especially the buffet breakfast with a variety of cooked options. It was also easy to explore the surrounding area. a perfect getaway.
