The cozy atmosphere at The New Hobbit was truly inviting, with staff who went above and beyond to prioritize their guests' needs. I was delighted by the excellent and reasonably priced food, which was served with a professional touch. The communal areas were comfortable and beautifully maintained, and I especially loved the large log burner - the perfect spot to unwind. The location was ideal, secluded enough to feel like a peaceful retreat yet only a short distance from civilization. Additionally, the ample car parking made it hassle-free.

One drawback was the check-in process, which was a bit slow and muddled. However, it didn't have a significant impact on my overall experience.

We chose The New Hobbit for a relaxing weekend getaway in a rural location. The staff were lovely and the hotel provided a great atmosphere for relaxation. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome and provided excellent service. the location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to a nearby restaurant that we go to every year. Additionally, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the food at the hotel's restaurant was very good.

One of the downsides of our stay was the size of the bathroom, which was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. It was clean and the shower was great, but it was definitely not a room that two people could fit in together comfortably.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, situated at the top of a hillside with breathtaking views of the town below and the surrounding hillsides. There were plenty of walking opportunities with miles of undulating hills, forests, and moorlands, making it perfect for guests with children. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed, including a big and spotlessly clean bathroom with a great shower. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, whether it was at breakfast or in the evening. Speaking of breakfast, it was fabulous and generous, with a wide variety of fresh and top-quality options to choose from.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Sowerby Bridge and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely ensuite bathroom that even had a bathtub. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I especially enjoyed the tea tray in the room, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel was also convenient, as it was close to the restaurant I was dining at and just a short walk from the town center. Additionally, there was ample parking available, which was a plus. I had a great time at the hotel and would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.

Food was excellent, staff extremely friendly, location convenient, and car park access was an adventure. Terrace outside for drinks. Bedroom size good, though bed a bit hard. Room clean, warm, well laid out. Balcony pleasant with great views. Refreshments tray had good range of teas.
