We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location on a hill in the centre of town was absolutely stunning. The service provided by the staff was top-notch and they were all friendly and welcoming. The room amenities, including the ironing facilities and paid Wi-Fi, were a great bonus. We also loved the dining options, with a restaurant and a bar/lounge area available. The food was delicious and well-cooked, and the selection of ales and wines was impressive.

We had a wonderful experience at this place and would definitely recommend it to our friends.

We stayed at a charming inn with a room that had a bay window overlooking a beautiful church. the views were fabulous and the room had a quirky character, making it very relaxing. Despite its older furnishings, it had all the modern amenities we needed, including excellent Wi-Fi. the inn had plenty of parking, and we were so impressed that we would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed the warm fireplace and stylish antique furnishings in the cozy rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering complimentary bubbly and delicious meals. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding was so tasty and sweet. One of the best parts of the stay was the location, which is conveniently near local attractions and landmarks, ideal for a festive outing.

The double decker buses passing by the room on occasion reduced privacy, and the mattresses could be more comfortable. But overall, it was an excellent experience with friendly service, delicious meals, and charm that compensates for the minor drawbacks. Highly recommend this place for a Christmas getaway!

We were amazed by the inviting real fire in the bar/dining area of the hotel. It created such a cozy and warm atmosphere. The food in the dining room was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the steak & cheddar pie and ham hock pudding. The breakfast provided was very good, with high-quality ingredients. Our bedroom was cozy and warm, with good quality bed linen. The bathrooms had quality soap, which was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The views from the front windows were lovely, adding to the overall charm of the hotel.
