The location was perfect, with a multi-storey car park nearby and just a five minute walk to the town centre. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a welcoming bath. The service was excellent, from the attentive bar staff to Eddie the superstar singing waiter, who kept our youngest entertained with his amazing performances. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We also appreciated the key safe system for easy access to our room. It was truly a memorable experience.

We stayed at The Northgate for a few nights and it was perfect for our needs. The location was ideal, just minutes away from the town center, which made it convenient for exploring the attractions, dining, and shopping options. The room we had, called Fenton, was beautifully designed and clean. We especially enjoyed the lovely breakfast they served, and each room had its own unique charm. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to The Northgate in the future to try their dinner menu and sample their delicious cocktails.

We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. Our room, Davers, was beautifully decorated and had a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we were provided with fluffy towels and plenty of hot water in the spacious bathroom. The dining room was lovely, and although the evening menu was limited, the food quality and presentation were excellent. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of choices. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences such as the lack of temperature control in the room and some noise from the road, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a short break.
