We loved the convenient location, just a short 15-minute walk from the heart of town. The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. The recently refurbished rooms were clean and spacious, with a comfortable and massive bed. The on-site car parking was a great perk. The breakfast options were freshly cooked and delicious, offering plenty of choices. a great place for families with children.

We felt most welcome during our stay, with the staff always ready to assist us. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

great location for exploring alnwick, oaks exceeded expectations. beautiful newly-created outdoor area, lovely bar staff, and amazing proximity to alnwick gardens, castle, and alnmouth beach. comfortable rooms with newly carpeted floors and a surprising four-poster bed. onsite parking and a good drink & food menu.

The hotel is conveniently located on the bus line from the train station, making it easy to reach by public transport. It is also close to the A1, allowing for easy travel up and down the coast. However, in bad weather, it might be advisable to take a taxi. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with good water pressure in the bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is outstanding with plenty of choices available.

The dining room can be quite cold, which may affect the dining experience.

Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable stay. Finally, the location of the hotel was perfect for all the activities I wanted to do. It was conveniently situated near the centre of Alnwick, making it easy to explore the area. I was very satisfied with the basic amenities and facilities provided, including a four poster bed, ground level room, hospitality tray and toiletries. The breakfast, served by a friendly waitress, was delicious and made with good quality ingredients. I also appreciated the good vegetarian options available.

Es gibt auch einen kostenfreien Shuttle-Service zum nahegelegenen Market Village.

Had a great time at the hotel during Christmas. the rooms were spacious and clean, with a large and bright shower room. the breakfast was delicious and nicely presented by the chef.

The creaking floorboards in the adjoining rooms were quite bothersome and interrupted our sleep at night. the location of the hotel was not ideal, as it was situated on a roundabout on the edge of town, which resulted in a lot of traffic noise during the night and early morning.

Had a great Christmas stay in this pub hotel! Got complementary mulled wine and mince pies on arrival and the staff were super friendly. the location was perfect, close to the town centre and Christmas market. We also loved the cosy fireplace in the bar area.

Our room was a bit noisy as it faced the road, and there was a slight smell of paint which might bother some guests. the shower could use an upgrade as it wasn't the best.

The bed was super comfy and the staff were incredibly friendly! Only a 10-minute walk to town and Alnwick Gardens. Perfect for celebrating our anniversary. Wish we could've stayed longer! Will definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at a hotel in a historic town with a great location for our visit. The English breakfast was delicious and had a fair choice. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, and had a comfortable bed. We weren't disturbed by traffic noise despite being near the main road. The hotel itself looked very pleasant and was attractively decorated. The best feature was definitely the food - lots of choices and very well cooked.
