The location is perfect, nestled in a charming village and just a short walk downhill to the seafront during the day. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities to hand. They have a certain old-world charm that could be modernized without losing their appeal. The breakfast served at this hotel is of high quality, and the cheerful waitress adds a touch of warmth to the dining experience.

The room I stayed in at The Oakwheel was lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. And the best part was the friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel just outside the main town. The location was perfect for me as I wanted to explore the beautiful area between Scarborough and Whitby. The hotel had ample parking space, which was a big plus for me. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel facilities were impressive, with a nice bar area and a well-maintained beer garden and terrace.

As a budget traveler, I loved the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, especially the full English. The lady taking care of us was really kind and attentive. The hotel provided excellent facilities and services, such as packed lunches and taxis. Shaun, the owner, was really helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The location was perfect, just a short drive away from the beautiful beaches and attractions of the area. the restaurant at the hotel served delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices, creating a great atmosphere. the parking was convenient and finding the hotel was easy.

The room had a few minor issues like cobwebs and damp patches, but overall it was clean and comfortable. the shower pressure was a bit weak, and there was some noise leakage from adjacent rooms.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel between Whitby and Scarborough. The location was perfect for visiting the surrounding attractions, including the Open Air Theatre, and the ease of access was great. I recently stayed at Oakwheel and had a wonderful experience. The room was bright, clean, and equipped with a flat screen TV and tea making facilities. The staff were excellent, especially at breakfast where they went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions. Free and easy parking on site was a bonus. The restaurant and bar downstairs had a cozy atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The beer garden at the back was a lovely spot to relax. I had a great stay at Oakwheel.

The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were friendly and attentive. the car park was spacious and free, which made travelling by car very convenient. the room had a large bathroom with clean facilities, which was very nice.
