The hotel is conveniently located near the centre, making it easy to explore the city. The cozy attic room is clean and comfortable, with a welcoming room heater. The friendly and helpful staff provide a warm welcome and the pub has a good atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a substantial breakfast, either in their room or in a separate area of the building.

The lighting in the room was poor, which made it difficult to see.

I recently stayed at The Old Bell for a weekend getaway and it exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect, situated in a nice part of town, and I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the pub. Despite being a "pub with rooms," I didn't hear any noise from the bar. excellent value for money and I will definitely be returning.

This hotel is located in a really nice area of Shrewsbury, just a short walk from Shrewsbury Abbey. The rooms have a nice modern touch and are equipped with all the necessary facilities, including tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rates are very reasonable, especially considering breakfast is included in the rate. It would have been nice to be offered juice as well, but overall, it's great value for money.

We enjoyed the personalized service offered by the friendly staff. the hotel's characterful old building with wooden beams added to the charm of our city trip. the location was also a plus, as it offered easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.

The room was slightly draughty, which detracted from our overall experience. the hotel's distance from the train station and town center was a bit of a drawback, particularly when trying to navigate without a car.
