My stay at Old Court House Villa was a pleasant experience. The manager greeted us warmly upon our late arrival and showed us to a clean and comfortable room. The location was fantastic, allowing easy access to the charming town of Bowness-on-Windermere. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good selection of tasty options. Additionally, the staff and fellow guests were friendly and welcoming, creating a homely atmosphere. I had a wonderful time at Old Court House Villa.

The room we stayed in was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom facilities were also good, providing a convenient and pleasant experience. The location of the hotel was another positive aspect, as it was situated near various amenities and attractions. Additionally, the friendly host provided a warm welcome and exceptional service, including serving a delicious breakfast each morning.

There were some negative aspects of our stay. The wifi connection was poor, making it difficult to stay connected.

We had a pleasant stay at Old Court House Villa. Sue was very accommodating and ensured we had a ground floor room for our heavy luggage. The room was comfortable with a spacious bathroom and good shower. The breakfast options, including a Full English breakfast and freshly-made fruit salad, were delicious. The location was ideal, within walking distance of Lake Windermere and its attractions, as well as plenty of dining options nearby. The Lakes District was beautiful, especially in the glorious July weather. We would highly recommend Old Court House Villa for a visit to this divine area.

I had such a delightful stay at The Old Court House Villa. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. They even surprised my wife with a birthday card during breakfast! The location is perfect, nestled in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, with easy access to all the attractions. The building itself has a charming character, and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding with a great variety to choose from. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient as it was walking distance from multiple restaurants and bars. It was also right by a bus stop, which made getting around easy and affordable.

The room was very noisy as it was located right next to the kitchen. The cleanliness of the towels left much to be desired. The smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering and unpleasant upon arrival. The parking situation was not ideal, as there were limited spaces available and we were required to pay for parking at a public lot. it was not a great experience and I would not choose to stay here again during business travel.

stayed in bowness-on-windermere again, but this time at a different place. old court house villa was beyond expectations. ideal location, delicious food in nearby pub, clean rooms, and friendly staff. highly recommend!

my recent stay in bowness-on-windermere exceeded all expectations. the lovely old building, friendly staff, and fantastic breakfast at old court house villa made it truly memorable. the location was perfect for exploring the lake, shops, and restaurants. everything was spotlessly clean and the personal welcome was a nice touch.

Noisy on the first night due to nearby pub activity. Small shower in the room, which made it difficult for even a small person to use comfortably.

We had a fantastic time staying at Old Court House Villa. The staff were incredibly nice, and the location was perfect for exploring Bowness. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. We especially liked having access to Netflix, which is a rare bonus at such a reasonably priced accommodation. The parking was a bit tight, but it was definitely a big plus to have parking available in the center of everything.

It was just a short walk to the town centre with its pubs and restaurants, and even closer to Lake Windermere. The location was perfect, with easy access to other nearby locations like Ambleside, Rydal, and Grasmere. We wish we could have stayed longer!
