I had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel like part of the family. The location was perfect for my diving weekend at Vobster, with easy access to the activities I wanted to do. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast options were delicious. the hotel provided excellent customer service and a comfortable stay.

A wonderful stay at The Old Down Inn! We felt right at home thanks to Maxine's warm welcome. The family room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with comfy beds. The evening meal was tasty and great value for money. We had a peaceful night's sleep and the breakfast was incredible, with lots of choice. The location was perfect for visiting Wells and Cheddar Gorge.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at a charming inn. The staff were welcoming and attentive, going out of their way to ensure our comfort. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, with a delicious steak and homemade puddings. We also appreciated the convenient location, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area.

We were disappointed by the low water pressure in the shower, and the lack of a shower mat, which posed a potential slipping hazard.

The room and bathroom were lovely, with a great breakfast included. the staff were friendly and there was plenty of free parking available. the little bottles of Bailey's in the room were a nice touch. the location was also ideal, with beautiful views of fields and a picturesque garden to enjoy.

The bathroom could use a bit of a makeover, as the shower was broken and the bathroom door didn't have a proper latch. the room did get quite hot and opening the window meant dealing with traffic noise.

We had a relaxing stay at a lovely old building. The location was perfect for us as it was close to our friends. The BLT Baguette we had for lunch was absolutely delicious, and the other guests' food looked equally tempting. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and was hearty. Maxine, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful, promptly responding to our emails regarding local taxi information. If we're ever in the area again, we would happily stay here. I highly recommend this hotel for a enjoyable and relaxing stay.
