Upon arrival at Trembling Madness, the staff were incredibly helpful. They took care of our luggage and arranged for convenient car parking. When it was time for our departure, the staff even assisted with our luggage and ensured that our car was waiting for us near the Minster. This was a huge help as it prevented us from making multiple trips. The neighboring staff were also lovely, and we were grateful for their provision of milk as we had forgotten to bring some. The apartment itself was filled with interesting and characterful touches, with a stunning view of the minster and waking up to the sound of church bells on Sunday morning. It was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city.

My stay at Trembling Madness was fantastic! The staff were extremely helpful and the apartment, called The Chamber, was a beautifully quirky medieval building. Despite the different levels of the floors, I loved the uniqueness of it. The breakfast hamper provided was amazing, and the steak pies were delicious. The location couldn't have been better, and I enjoyed the ghostly atmosphere and the view from the upstairs bathroom. Alice, one of the staff members, was marvelous and even ran down to the Minster with the keys. a great experience in a fun and roomy apartment.

As youngsters, we absolutely loved staying at The Chamber in Trembling Madness Apartments. The medieval building and different floor levels added a unique quirkiness that made our stay memorable. Collecting the keys from the Trembling Madness bar next door added to the adventurous experience. The private courtyard with a BBQ and fire pit was a cozy spot to relax in the evenings. The atmosphere in the sitting room, with its ancient oak floor and oak wainscotting, was simply enchanting. The four-poster bed and claw foot tub in the bedroom, along with the sensational view of the Minster at night, made us feel like we were in a fairy tale. if you're looking for something unique and central to experience the charm of old York, this is the place for you.

We had an amazing time exploring all the local hot spots in the city, thanks to the central location of the apartment. It was so convenient to be right in the center of everything. The apartment was cozy and comfortable, with quirky decor and retro games that kept the kids entertained. The beds were really comfortable and we enjoyed the selection of DVDs and board games provided. It was a great experience overall.

Parking was a bit of a challenge at the start of our stay and the process was not very clear.

The pub across the courtyard, House of Trembling Madness, was absolutely brilliant. The staff there were fantastic, making our experience even more enjoyable.
