During my Christmas stay, I loved the picturesque English village setting of the hotel. It truly felt like a winter wonderland. The pub on the premises served exquisite food that was absolutely delicious. The staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the room was clean and tidy, and I appreciated having a basin in the room, even though the bathroom was located across the hall.

There were a few aspects that I didn't particularly enjoy. the breakfast options were quite limited, with only cereal and bread available.

I had a lovely stay at a charming village pub with clean and comfortable rooms. The free continental breakfast was a nice touch, and the evening meals were absolutely delicious. The location was picturesque and I can't wait to visit again in September. I highly recommend this hotel for a short stay.

I had a pleasant stay at a comfortable B&B above a lovely village pub. The facilities were simple and basic, but I expected that. The room had a nice shape and didn't have an ugly bathroom "box" in the corner. The bed was comfortable and there was a bedside lamp. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed a good, substantial dinner at the pub and the breakfast was a basic continental one as promised. Holt is an interesting place to explore.

We stayed at The Old Ham Tree for one night and it was perfect. The room was bright, warm, and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a varied selection of cereals, jams, and choice of bread for toasting. The location was lovely, with beautiful gardens and a friendly, helpful staff. a very clean and comfortable stay.

The beer garden at this rural pub was the perfect spot to soak up the sun, with beautiful blooming flowers adding to the ambiance. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a lovely shower room. The service from the friendly owners was excellent. They even provided a small but satisfying breakfast in the communal kitchen. Plus, the location was great for exploring local tourist spots.

The lack of a personal TV in the room was a minor inconvenience.

our second stay in holt exceeded expectations. old ham tree made our honeymoon extra special. fabulous food, lovely beer garden, and clean comfortable rooms. definitely staying again.

As a backpacker, I loved the affordable price and comfortable bed at The Old Ham Tree. The inn had a separate entrance to the room, allowing for late-night arrivals without disturbing others. The staff was accommodating and pleasant, making the stay even more enjoyable.

We had a great time at the Old Ham Tree in Holt. the public bar area was fantastic, with a wide selection of local ales and great food at reasonable prices. the overall experience was enjoyable, and the relaxed atmosphere made our two-night stay pleasant. the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. the little breakfast room with self-serve tea and coffee facilities was a nice touch. the location was also perfect, with easy parking and close proximity to National Trust gardens, Bradford on Avon, and Melksham. It was definitely good value for money.
