my recent stay in bury st. edmunds was amazing, but Old Pear Tree B&B exceeded all expectations. the cozy rooms were filled with character and had beautiful views of the farms and fields. the hosts were so welcoming and the traditional english breakfast was delicious. i even got to try homemade honey from the beekeeper!

Wonderful hosts! Early check-in, spotless twin room, powerful shower, well-located for country walks. Cold water provided, delicious cooked breakfast.

The fresh tea on arrival and homemade cake was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the shower was modern and worked well. The location was good, close to natural sites and places to eat.

The room was small and the decor was outdated. I was disappointed that there was no gym or fitness center available for guests, as I like to workout during my city trips.
