Beautiful location with no overlooked houses or businesses, quiet at night. Well-equipped and warm with a cozy fireplace. Great for exploring The Roaches and conveniently close to a good pub. Ample plug sockets, complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits. Parking available. Perfect for a couple of nights.

The value for money was great, and the room itself was cozy and clean. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and with a pub just a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even better.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at this magical and quirky Shepherd's Hut. The location was just beautiful, with a stream/waterfall nearby. The hut itself was well-appointed and thoughtfully decorated, making excellent use of the space. The kitchen was well-equipped and the hot water system efficient. We also loved the different seating areas in the garden, providing shade on hot days. The locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pub just a 2-minute walk away served amazing food. a perfect place for a cozy and relaxing getaway.

The location of the hut was perfect for a romantic escape. We were able to enjoy the beautiful waterfall nearby and take peaceful walks along the stream. The pub that was just a short walk away was a great bonus, serving delicious food and providing a cozy atmosphere. the hut was well-equipped with kitchen appliances, including a coffee maker, allowing us to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the mornings.

There were a few aspects that we found disappointing. the shower hut was in need of some attention and upgrading.

The Old Pumphouse Shepherds Hut was an absolute steal for the price. The room was cozy and well-appointed, with a thoughtful use of space that made it feel much larger than it actually was. The location was simply breathtaking, surrounded by nature and a tranquil stream/waterfall. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

While the breakfast option was good, it would have been even better if they had offered a wider variety of choices.

The hut had a cozy and romantic feel, with a pretty and private location. The nearby pub was a great place to eat and the coffee and tea supplies were a nice touch. The hot water system and shower were efficient, and the garden had lovely spots to relax in.

Some maintenance issues were present, such as a broken shower base and missing grout in the shower hut. The sink in the kitchen was also problematic, with water splashing into the cupboard.
