It was a unique and cozy space to relax in. the carriages were surprisingly comfortable, making great use of the limited space. the bathroom was excellent, and the bed was warm and extremely comfortable. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. There is also a pub just a short walk away that serves delicious food and drinks. I highly recommend a visit to Petworth, despite the challenging one-way system and parking situation. I hope to visit the Old Railway Station Bed & Breakfast again.

Fantastic experience

I had such a fantastic experience during my stay at Old Railway Station B&B. Everything was truly memorable, from the friendly staff to the excellent breakfast service. I stayed in one of the railway cabins and it was such a cool and unique experience. The cabin had a cosy 1950s feel to it, with a former waiting room serving as the breakfast area. The bacon, in particular, deserves a special mention as it was absolutely delicious. The location was also convenient, with a pub just a short walk away. I would highly recommend Old Railway Station B&B for anyone looking for a fantastic stay.

The converted Pullman carriages were full of character and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The vintage decor really made us feel like we had stepped back in time. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was great, with a pub nearby that served amazing food and beautiful surroundings to explore.

That the heating in the room was a bit too warm at night and we had to turn it off. We also would have liked to have more variety in the breakfast options, as it felt a bit limited.

What a treat for my 50th birthday! This place is a gem for old style railway enthusiasts. The beautifully preserved Pullman carriages are a unique and nostalgic experience. The accommodation is comfortable, with updated amenities and excellent bathrooms. The breakfast in the waiting room is exceptional and beautifully laid out. The staff is helpful, professional, and welcoming. The nearby Badger pub offers a lovely dinner option. I have already recommended this place to my friends.

As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the welcoming and spotlessly clean accommodations at The Old Railway Station. The rooms, especially the Pullman carriage, were tastefully furnished and the recently refurbished bathrooms were a nice touch. The bedding was clean and incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We particularly loved the unique and memorable experience of staying in a carriage and the delightful Breakfast Room. The quality of furnishings and table-ware was top-notch, and the fresh fruit at breakfast was a welcome touch. The evening meal at Badgers pub, just a short walk away, was exceptional and highly recommended.

The hotel's location is a bit remote, and without a car, it can be challenging to get around. the lack of walkways for pedestrians in the area makes it difficult and dangerous to walk alongside the traffic, especially when returning to the hotel after visiting nearby attractions.
