had the best summer holiday in thirsk! old surgery villa was even better than before - beautiful decor, cozy atmosphere, and a fully equipped kitchen. loved the xmas touches and the convenient location near the village center. wifi was solid and the shower was great. overall, a lovely cottage that exceeded expectations!

I stayed at The Old Surgery for a week-long family getaway to explore North Yorkshire. The cottage was perfect for my husband, 15-year-old son, and me. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and cupcakes upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, and the comfortable lounge, bedroom, and excellent shower made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. We especially loved the charming dachshund-themed decorations in the bedroom window.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a cosy mews cottage in Thirsk. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing weekend away. The location was perfect, close to pubs, restaurants, shops, and even the Thirsk racecourse. The host, Allison, was incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the extra touches, like the Christmas decorations and the welcome pack with a bottle of beer, prosecco, and cupcakes. The cottage even had an electric vehicle charging point, which was a bonus. it was a lovely, relaxing weekend in a cute and cosy cottage.
