It had a nice restaurant with delicious food. the staff were very pleasant and made the stay enjoyable. the area around the hotel was stunning, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.

The room was quite small and cramped. It would be great if they could provide more storage space for clothes.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Owl in Hawnby. the location is stunning, with fantastic access to the moors. the staff made us feel like royalty, and our dog was welcomed with open arms. the food was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We couldn't recommend this Yorkshire gem enough.

As a hardworking NHS employee, I needed a break and some relaxation. The Owl in Hawnby, North Yorkshire was the perfect place for it. The location was stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We loved sitting outside and enjoying the sounds of nature, while our dogs were treated like valued guests. The food was delicious, with a great selection for breakfast and tasty pub meals for lunch and dinner. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Can't wait to come back soon!

We highly recommend Owl Hawnby for a lovely retreat in a gorgeous setting.

The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding, and being able to enjoy it on the terrace in lovely weather made it even more special. the staff were very flexible and accommodating, ensuring a delightful start to the day. Improvement could be made in room amenities like providing soap and ample toilet paper, but the prompt response from the staff made up for it.

The family-friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home. the children's play area and organized activities kept our kids entertained for hours. the spacious family room with a beautiful view was a big plus.

My wife says that more variety in the children's menu would have been great.

The decorations at the hotel were charming, with a cozy bar area featuring a lovely open fire perfect for senior people to relax and enjoy. the accessibility of the hotel, set on a hill with spectacular views, made it easy for us to take in the beauty of the surroundings without much effort, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

Longer bar hours would enhance the experience for senior guests to unwind after a day exploring the beautiful countryside.
