We stayed in a few hotels during our Cotswolds trip and The Painswick was our favorite. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were quirky and clean, and the views were stunning. We enjoyed the delicious food, especially the scotch egg and cocktails. The attention to detail and personal touches made us feel like part of a family. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at a charming boutique hotel in the sleepy, quaint village. The staff were exceptional, offering kind and attentive service from the moment we arrived. The hotel had a calm and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a romantic getaway. Our room was incredibly clean and aesthetically pleasing, with lovely touches such as sky television and a fan for the heatwave. The location was exceptional, with easy access to a range of Cotswold villages and larger cities like Bath. The views from the terrace were absolutely stunning.

I had an incredible stay at this stunning boutique hotel in an idyllic little town. The decor was exquisite and the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms offered amazing views of the hills, and the complementary home-baked cakes on arrival were a delightful touch. The hotel had a variety of relaxing spaces, and they even provided wellies and suggested walking routes for exploring the area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. it was one of the best places I have ever stayed.

We've stayed in many hotels and this is possibly the best! Superb throughout. All the staff we met seemed very happy there, which makes for a nice atmosphere. They were helpful and friendly, without being at all "servile". The location is exceptional with easy access to a range of Cotswold villages as well as larger cities such as Bath. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a choice of two lounges, a bar area, and an entertainment room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and our room was incredibly clean and aesthetically pleasing. The views from the garden overlooking the valley were absolutely stunning. Breakfast was delicious and made with fresh local produce.

My second stay at this hotel was even better than the first. The cleanliness was outstanding, with the TV remote and air con remote sanitized and sealed in a bag. The staff were friendly, respectful, and followed all safety guidelines. The rooms were comfortable, and the food was impeccable, from breakfast to room service. The location in the lovely town of Painswick was perfect for scenic walks. They even provided wellies, raincoats, and walking routes. The little touches like books, freshly baked treats, and cozy lounge areas with log fires made the stay even more enjoyable. one of the best places I have ever stayed.

We had a fantastic two-night break at The Painswick. The service was discreet, the breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We followed the ten-mile walk recommendation, clearly laid out for us. I must admit, I would have gone the wrong way if not for my husband's sense of direction! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel well looked after. The facilities were of a high standard, adding to the overall relaxing ambiance. We also enjoyed playing board games after dinner and borrowing wellington boots for our muddy walks.

The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was with the bar service. While the drinks were of excellent quality, the bartender seemed overwhelmed and the wait time was longer than expected.
