Value for money was excellent and the room was cozy and well-decorated. The location was perfect, close to shops, entertainment, and the beach. Lisa, the manager, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming accommodation in a prime location. My room was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was so comfortable, and I slept like a baby. The breakfast was delicious and kept me energized for the day. Additionally, the owner was friendly and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The location is perfect, with everything just a stone's throw away. The rooms are well-equipped with lovely en-suite facilities, making it ideal for solo travelers. Wow, I couldn't believe the value I got for my money at this little gem in Southport! The room was clean, comfy, and had all the tea and coffee I could ask for. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and the beautiful promenade. But the best part was the staff, especially Lisa and her mom, Joan. They treated me like family and made me feel right at home. Can't recommend this place enough!

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with the promenade just to the right and the beach close by. it was conveniently situated across the road from the Convention Centre and within walking distance of the town centre. The room was comfortable with all the necessary amenities, including bottled water in the fridge and a variety of options on the hospitality tray. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious with plentiful portions.

The shower door was a bit awkward to open and shut.

Stayed at this lovely little place called Penkelie. Lisa, the host, was incredibly welcoming. We arrived early and luckily our room was ready. The rooms may be small, but they have everything you need. The breakfast selection was great, with my husband enjoying the full English. The location is also fantastic, being close to the seafront. I would definitely recommend Penkelie.

The staff were friendly and the room was cleaned everyday. The tea and coffee making facilities were good and the cookies were a nice touch. , the bed was comfortable and the linen was changed regularly.

There were some negative aspects to my stay. The location was not good, with dirty surroundings and views of the back of houses.

The house was beautifully decorated and the facilities were excellent. Our room was impeccably clean and the modern bathroom had high-quality toiletries. We loved the little touches like the bottled water in the fridge and the variety of options on the hospitality tray. The breakfast, especially the vegetarian options, was delicious. We also appreciated the real coffee. We couldn't have asked for a better location and we're already planning to return.
