I stayed at The Pheasant hotel for two nights for a family occasion. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the train station. The separate hotel accommodation was comfortable and quiet, despite being next to the pub. The staff, including Mike and Catherine, provided excellent service and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The traditional English pub had a welcoming atmosphere and served delicious food. my stay exceeded expectations and I will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! the location is really convenient as it is just a short walk from the train station and close to the motorway. This made it very easy for us to explore the area and get around. Additionally, the service at this hotel was top-notch. The staff, including the Inn manager, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They even stayed in contact with us throughout our journey to ensure we had a smooth arrival. The room amenities were also great, with everything we needed including ironing facilities, heating, and free Wi-Fi. The garden area was lovely to relax in, and the option of room service was a nice touch.

Our stay was marred by a disturbing incident in the parking lot where a stranger approached us and attempted to follow us to our room. Despite calling reception for help, no staff came to assist, and we felt unsafe in our ground-floor room with no effective lock.
