The Phoenix Guest House was in a nice area and close to the seafront and main bus route. the property was clean and tidy, with a helpful and attentive owner/manager. the room was well-equipped and spotlessly clean to a high standard. the on-street parking was ample and free of charge. the location was convenient, with the town center and rail station a short walk away.

The location of the guest house is perfect, being conveniently situated between the two main beaches of Scarborough. It is also close to the North Bay and open top buses that can take you to the South Bay. it is near the open air theatre, which is great for those who enjoy concerts. The rooms are clean and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and nice carpets. The breakfast is delicious and well-presented, with options like poached eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal. the staff is very friendly and helpful.

One minor drawback is that the rooms can be a bit small for longer stays.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at The Phoenix. The clean and comfortable guest house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Jenny, the proprietor, was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The breakfast menu looked delicious, although we didn't have a chance to try it. The location was also convenient, just a short walk from the beach, park, railway, and water park. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here again.

We had a fantastic weekend at Phoenix Guest House. From the moment we arrived, Jenny, the proprietor, made us feel incredibly welcome. the location was perfect, with Peasholm Park just across the street and Scarborough town centre only a short 15-minute walk away. Our family room was spacious and comfortable, and we loved having the additional single room next door as a dressing room. the breakfast spread was magnificent, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including the must-try blueberry pancakes. the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, even providing parking permits for our convenience. We can't wait to return!
