I was extremely disappointed with the bathroom heating. We returned after a late meal and found it incredibly cold, which discouraged any idea of refreshing before bed. Additionally, the condition of the stairs was challenging with our luggage. I expected some inconvenience, but this was more than just a minor drama.

The bathroom was freezing without heating, leaving you reluctant to shower!!! Room sizes could be a bit cramped, and finding the main entrance was confusing due to the layout!!! More seating in common areas would be beneficial!!!

The hosts were incredibly warm, they even introduced me to porridge with whisky! It hit the spot after a long hike and the breakfast was just overflowing with local goodness.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but it was worth it.

The brekkie here was such a lekker way to start the day, especially when they had haggis and black pudding—ja, I’m into that! My room was so comfy, best sleep I’ve had in ages. The hosts were super chill and even helped me sort my bags before check-in. Major win!

I had a wonderful night in a cozy twin room. The hosts, Scott and Nancy, prepared an early breakfast for me, which was a delightful surprise. The breathtaking views from my window made the stay unforgettable. Pro tip, take advantage of their local activity recommendations!

During my stay, I enjoyed cycling on the nearby paths, which added to the experience. The quadruple room was comfortable and included a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Breakfast had a good variety, which I appreciated as a solo traveler. I encountered lovely views and a quiet atmosphere, making it a relaxing escape. The hosts allowed me to store my bike in a garage, showing they care about their guests' needs.

i had an awesom stay at the poplars guest house. super warm welcome from the hosts, scott n nancy, who were there for us since we arrived. the rooms are hella cozy and they really made sure we had a great breakfast even at 6 am! plus, the location is perfect, just a short walk from everything in pitlochry. definitely felt like home away from home!

only things were we wished we could've stayed longer n the bathroom in the room could have used a lil heating for some cold nights.

The Twin Room was super comfy and clean, definitely one of the best sleeps I've had in a while. The views from the window were stunning, overlooking the highlands. Loved the cute decor and that cozy vibe throughout the place. It really felt like a home away from home. Also, they had high-quality linens that made the bed feel extra cozy. Breakfast was amazing, so worth it!
