Our stay at Portland Guesthouse was fantastic. The old building has been beautifully restored, making it a charming place to stay. Our room, although on the smaller side, was comfortable and well-appointed. The ensuite bathroom was modern and impeccably clean. We also enjoyed a hearty and delicious breakfast each morning. The manager, Sam, went above and beyond to accommodate us, sorting out last-minute parking and even calling to let us know we left a charger behind. The location was convenient, just a short stroll into town. I highly recommend this hotel for a lovely stay.

I had a really good experience at Portland Guesthouse. the communication prior to arrival, especially regarding the parking permit, was excellent. Matt greeted us warmly and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. the room, although compact, was clean and comfortable. the breakfast selection was delicious, offering a decent variety. the location was fantastic, with the town centre and Brewery Quarter just a short walk away. I would definitely recommend Portland Guesthouse and I would love to visit again.

My Christmas experience at this hotel was amazing. the decorations in the common areas were impressive, from the beautiful Christmas lights to the festive music, everything made me feel at home. the location was ideal, with plenty of shopping options and excellent restaurants nearby.

The only downside I found during my stay was the room. Although it was clean and cozy, the bed creaked constantly, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.

I recently stayed at a guesthouse located very close to the town centre, which made it convenient to explore all the nearby amenities. The room provided was not only comfortable and clean, but also had a lovely view at the back of the property. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. it was a great experience.

Breakfast was delicious, and the homemade brownies left in our room were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was convenient for exploring the town.
