Staying at the Queen's Head in Hawkedon with my 8-year-old was a delightful experience. the traditional yet homely breakfast served by Juliet was a pleasant surprise, and the accommodations were spacious and charming. the location was perfect for outdoor activities like running and walking, with landmarks such as Great Wood Hill and Wickhambrook All Saints church nearby, adding to the overall experience. the garden area provided a peaceful retreat for relaxation, enhancing our family bonding time.

Explored cool walks, chilled in the roomy crib with a sick kitchen. the evening meal was fire, and the hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Definitely, a vibe!

Would've been even sicker if they had a rad karaoke night or a dance floor to turn up with my squad!

Returning to this hotel was an absolute pleasure! the warm welcome from Scott and Juliette never fails to make us feel at home. the cozy apartment we stayed in was immaculate, equipped with everything we needed. the ancient charm of the building adds to the unique experience, especially when mingling in the pub with the friendly locals. the modern amenities in the room were a nice touch that blended well with the historical setting.

One aspect that could be improved upon is the breakfast situation.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely accommodation above the pub. the views were beautiful and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding walks. the flat was spacious and had its own kitchen, making it very convenient. Scott and Juliette were wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the food at the pub was excellent as well. We will definitely be returning to the Queen's Head for future stays.
