We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a friendly pub only 200 yards from the sea. The location was perfect, right on the seafront and next to the beach. It was great to be able to enjoy the beach and sea so close to the hotel. The cleanliness of the room was excellent, it was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities were also very good, with a comfortable bed, nice toiletries, and a hairdryer provided. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

had a lovely city break in newbiggin-by-the-sea. queens head exceeded expectations with clean rooms, friendly staff, and great breakfast. location close to the beach was a bonus. would definitely go back!

The room was recently refurbished and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with an easy access shower. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the locals were friendly as well. the beach was close by, although dogs were not allowed on many sections at this time of year. the location was key, with easy access to the promenade and nearby pubs and cafes. the side entrance to the accommodation was a great feature, as it meant we didn't have to go through the pub. it was a stylish, modern, and clean place to stay.

there was no mention of the steep stairs in the room description, which was a problem as I have mobility issues. This information should definitely be included for future guests.

The hotel had everything we could need - a great room with a comfy bed, fabulous shower, and all the amenities like tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, and toiletries. The staff, especially the owner Jamie, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal, just a stone's throw from the beach and promenade, and there was free off-road parking nearby.

I had a fantastic stay at the Queens Head. the newly renovated bedrooms were beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and a stunning shower. the staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the bar area had a great vibe, and the wide selection of beers, including interesting guest beers, was impressive. the highlight for me was the extensive variety of gins, with the option to personalize your tonic flavor. I also loved the character of the hotel, with its Edwardian features and old photos of Newbiggin.
