Nestled in a lovely old pub in the middle of nowhere, The Queens Head offers a charming retreat just a short drive to Harrogate Town centre. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, even organizing taxis for guests. The delicious breakfast, with its piping hot dishes and variety of cereals, is a definite highlight. The bar boasts a great selection of ales and draft lager, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring.

The car park lacks proper lighting, which may cause some safety concerns during nighttime arrivals.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff and owner, making us feel incredibly welcome. the room we had was clean, comfortable, and had a quirky charm to it. the bed was cozy, and there was plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. the bathroom was spotless with a nice shower. the highlight was definitely the food - a wonderful choice served with a smile. Breakfast, in particular, was superb, with piping hot options and a variety of cereals. the staff went above and beyond, even organizing a taxi for us. the log fire in the bar was a great bonus too!

My daughter and I had a truly exceptional stay at this hidden gem in a peaceful location. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The meals served in the pub were superb, with a fantastic breakfast spread. We loved the cozy atmosphere with a roaring log fire during our winter stay. The staff, led by Louise, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The outside garden dining area looked inviting, and we're already planning to come back in the summer. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

I must mention that the showerhead in our room was broken, which affected the water spray. Additionally, there was no bath soak provided, only shower gel, which was not ideal for a relaxing bath.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely old pub in the middle of nowhere. The location in the heart of the village was serene and peaceful. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities such as a working TV, WIFI, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel facilities were excellent, with ample car parking available on site and the convenience of residents having their own access door. The staff provided top-notch service, being extremely friendly and accommodating all my requests. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order, with plenty of options to choose from.

I had an exceptional stay at this cozy country pub! the staff here truly went the extra mile to make my experience memorable. the room was inviting, complete with fluffy towels and a generous supply of coffee, tea, milk, and sugar. the pub's evening meal selection was outstanding, accompanied by a great selection of beers and wines. And let's not forget the highlight - the amazing full English breakfast that awaited me the next morning! the charming atmosphere and picturesque location in the Yorkshire Dales made this stay truly unforgettable.

The only downside I encountered was the noise from the guests in the neighboring room.

The Queens Head Pub in Kettlesing was a perfect choice for our stopover on the way to Northumbria. The friendly staff and warm welcome made us feel right at home. The clean and comfortable room with a touch of quirkiness was just what we needed. The delicious breakfast cooked to order and the great variety of food options for dinner exceeded our expectations. The convenient location, ample parking, and easy access added to the overall convenience of our stay. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to others.
