our recent stay in scarborough was made even better by our time at the red lea. the apartment they offered was amazing, with spacious rooms and a separate bathroom. it was a perfect base for exploring the area and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. highly recommend!

Our room, although on the smaller side, was clean and serviced daily. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, served with care and attention in a lovely dining area. The hotel also offered a range of leisure facilities, including a gym, pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna, which were all well-maintained and not overcrowded. Despite some initial concerns about parking, the hotel provided us with a free disc and we were able to find a space nearby. The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to the town centre and a beautiful garden opposite. we had a great experience at this hotel and would recommend it to others.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Scarborough. the location was excellent, with just a short walk to the town center and the harbor. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. The room had a great sea view and was equipped with everything I needed, including a big bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. I also appreciated the attention to detail, with amenities like a hairdryer, ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, and a radio/docking station in the room. The breakfast was a delight, with allocated tables, crisp white table linen, and English china. Additionally, the evening dinner offered plenty of choices and was reasonably priced for a three-course meal.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was perfect, right by the beach and within walking distance of all the attractions. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. And the best part was the entertainment provided, which had us all laughing and enjoying ourselves. it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely go back again.

The water pressure in the shower, which wasn't great on the upper floors. However, considering we were on a cliff top, it was understandable.

The Red Lea Hotel is a hidden gem, offering great value for money. The prices for drinks at the bar are reasonable, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing evening without breaking the bank. The location is perfect, situated fairly close to the seafront at the South of Scarborough. You can easily take a tram to the Spa or enjoy breathtaking views from the hotel's cliffside position. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to provide excellent service. The basic amenities in the rooms are satisfactory, and those with a Seaview offer a fabulous view that will take your breath away. Lastly, as a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options available to me.
