I had a wonderful stay at the Red Lion! The room was beautifully spacious and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was lovely, especially the huge shower. I enjoyed a delicious lunch in the pub upon arrival and was even able to take a coffee up to my room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the communication prior to my arrival about restaurant opening times was great. it was amazing value for money and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at The Red Lion and it exceeded our expectations. The pub is located in a beautiful village and the pictures online were accurate. We called ahead for an early check-in and our room was ready as promised. The modern and nicely decorated room had a comfortable bed. The staff, including Ian and Roger, were very friendly and helpful. The food at the pub, especially the lunch, was amazing. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We also appreciated that they offer dog-friendly rooms and beautiful walks nearby. We're already planning to return with our dog!

Recently renovated, the Red Lion at Hellidon is a hidden gem offering excellent value for money. We were warmly welcomed, along with our four-legged friend, and enjoyed a top-notch breakfast in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. the staff in the bar were incredibly friendly and the evening meal and drinks were great. the location, although a bit secluded, was beautiful. Our room was lovely, well-decorated, and the spacious shower was a pleasant surprise. a fantastic stay at a reasonable price.

Great Easter weekend! the hotel was in a beautiful location, perfect for exploring the nearby countryside. the rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast and dinner offered a variety of delicious options, some even homemade! We also enjoyed the complimentary Wi-Fi and parking.

The limited options for lunch. the nearest restaurant was half an hour away, so we had to settle for light snacks.
