We had a wonderful stay at The Red Lion. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Greg. The room was comfortable with a lovely ensuite. The breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked to order and delicious. The location was convenient, just 10 minutes out of town. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return in the future. Thank you!

My recent stay at the Red Lion was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious, perfect for my party of three. The bathroom was lovely, and I especially enjoyed the large bath. The price was excellent, and the hotel's proximity to Durham was ideal for the graduation we were attending. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfasts were delicious, and I appreciated the free on-site parking.

We stayed at this hotel during our trek through the beautiful countryside. The pub downstairs provided a welcome respite after a day of walking, and the location was convenient for exploring the nearby town centre or cricket club. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely modern bathroom that had all the necessary toiletries. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our check-in and check-out went smoothly. The breakfast menu had a wide variety of options, and the cooked-to-order meals were delicious. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Some of the bedroom furniture could use an update. It was a minor issue, but still worth mentioning.
