We had a wonderful stay at this charming traditional pub in the heart of a historic town. Our room on the top floor was beautifully decorated and had a fantastic bathroom with a powerful shower. The hotel provided high-quality Espa toiletries and we loved the in-room amenities like the kettle and coffee maker with fresh milk. The location was perfect, close to the stunning Basingstoke Canal, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed delicious meals at the pub and the Italian restaurant nearby. The hotel even provided secure bike storage for our 45-mile cycling trip.

Celebrating New Year at this hotel was amazing! the location is excellent as it is close to the main attractions and has easy access to public transport which made it very convenient to explore the town. the rooms were clean and well presented, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the towels were of a good size. the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was exceptionally good. We really enjoyed the variety of foods on offer.

We had a minor issue with the breakfast because there were limited continental choices available, and no hot breakfast was offered, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite this, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at The Red Lion for a night and it was fantastic. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the location on the High Street was ideal. The room was well-kept and tastefully decorated, with a spacious and bright bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there were even robes provided. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, and overall, my stay was lovely.

Each room named after an aircraft, such as the RAF Belvedere. Conveniently located in the center of a quaint village. Impeccably clean with comfortable beds and luxurious towels. Friendly and helpful staff, especially at breakfast. Impressive selection of quality teas and coffees.

I appreciated the flexibility of the late checkout offered to us, free of charge. the breakfast in the morning was outstanding, and we particularly loved the thick, gammon-like bacon. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
