The room was really impressive, with plenty of space and a modern ensuite shower room. It was even better than my own home office, with lots of natural light and a quiet atmosphere for working. the free and easily accessible WiFi was a great bonus. the staff were incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough to make my stay enjoyable. the food in the hotel was delicious, with a great evening meal and a nice breakfast. a comfy stay and a warm welcome.

The decor and furniture in the hotel could use some updating as it was starting to look a bit worn. However, considering the price and style of the hotel, it wasn't a major issue.

We stayed at a hotel located within walking distance of the city center. There was also a factory nearby, providing an interesting view from our room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast served was satisfactory, and we were well taken care of during our stay.

Spent Christmas here and it was wonderful! the breakfast and dinner menus offered excellent choices, including vegetarian options, and the food was delicious. the staff were friendly and accommodating and the location was perfect for exploring the town and nearby attractions. the Christmas decorations added to the festive atmosphere and made our stay even more enjoyable.

The room bedding was not very comfortable and the pillows were too flat. our room was near an outdoor fan which made a bit of noise at night and made it difficult to sleep at times.

stayed in barnard castle before but redwell inn really exceeded expectations this time! immaculate bedding and towels, attentive staff, free upgrade to a large room, new tv with good picture, high-quality biscuits. can't ask for more!

bathroom arrangement needs improvement

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the young lady who checked us in and Stephanie, who went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage space, tea and coffee facilities, and a hairdryer. Despite being on a busy road, the traffic noise didn't bother us, and we slept soundly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of choices and portions that left us feeling satisfied. The hotel also offered free parking, which was a great bonus. Additionally, the location was perfect for enjoying late afternoon sundowners, with a beautiful view of the opposite wall.

They even added those extra touches that made a difference.

The breakfast menu could be improved by providing individual milk jugs at the tables instead of sharing a big bottle.
