The Retro B And B exceeded my expectations in several ways. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were affordable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. Secondly, the location was in a quiet area, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Lastly, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The Retro B&B was beyond amazing! Our Union Room was mind-blowing, with two spacious bedrooms and a super cool bathroom. The place was spotless and had all the essentials we needed, like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The funky bunk beds shaped like a double-decker bus were a jaw-dropping hit with our kids. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the delicious full English breakfast left us speechless. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and close to the town center. Can't wait to stay here again!

Spent Christmas at a unique budget-friendly B&B near the city centre. The staff's hospitality was second to none - we were welcomed with open arms and given a map to explore the nearby area with ease. The location was excellent as we were only a short walk away from restaurants, tourist attractions, and shops. The best aspects were the cosy decor and the room's private en-suite, perfect for a winter's night in. the complimentary breakfast was filling and delicious, giving us plenty of energy for our wintery excursions.

The downside was the weak Wi-Fi signal in our room, it would have been nice to have a stronger connection available to check the day's weather forecast or stream a festive movie. The added drawback was the lack of availability of parking since we had to leave early in the morning, which created a small inconvenience as searching for an available spot was time-consuming.
