The room was pristine and beautifully decorated, with a stunning en suite shower room. The piped music in the bedroom and shower room added a nice touch. The comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. The breakfast in the well-presented dining area was exceptional. The staff were friendly and accommodating. a truly enjoyable experience that I would definitely recommend.

Spent New Year’s Eve at a lovely pub that provided a beautiful room. the staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was spotless and had a modern bathroom. Breakfast had a great selection of cooked food. the location was fantastic as there was a lively restaurant for lunch and evening, and the breakfast was calm, perfect to start the day. Would recommend this place!

Parking was an issue because of limited spaces and there was some traffic noise due to it being situated along a busy main road. they need to provide proper coffee in the morning because instant coffee was not nice.

the Rose and Crown provided a warm and friendly atmosphere, with modern and beautifully appointed rooms. the attention to detail by the proprietors was outstanding, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the location was perfect, with nice walking trails and a short drive to the beach. the pub downstairs served delicious food and had a great atmosphere. I would definitely book a stay here again. the staff even went above and beyond by promising to send back a forgotten scarf to our home address in Holland, which we really appreciated.

I recently stayed at The Rose And Crown for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The pub itself is a charming, old building with well-preserved original features. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and always impeccably clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the manager went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a good variety of options at fair prices. a great place to stay!

The location was perfect for us as it was super close to the coast, so we could easily escape to the sea for a refreshing walk. Plus, it was close to the Harwich international harbour where we had to catch an early morning ferry. The room was tastefully decorated, the bathroom was clean, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, with generous portions. We also appreciated the easy entry system and the abundance of tea and coffee in the room.

We were disappointed that the village was quite quiet and lacked the little shops and cafes we had hoped for.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The shower screen and mirror were spotless, and I was impressed with their cleaning methods. The staff provided great hospitality and were quick to resolve any issues, such as a slight problem with the electronic door battery. They even offered us free drinks from the bar while we waited. The hotel provided ample supplies of tea, milk, and bottled water.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the high street. The staff were super friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail was evident in the beautifully decorated rooms on the top floor, which had nice bathrooms and even a fan to keep us cool. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, including instant coffee to start the day off right. The hotel's location in a friendly village with nice walking trails in the area was a added bonus.
