The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the bustling town. Whether you want to explore the shops, dine at local restaurants, or take a leisurely stroll by the river, everything is just a stone's throw away.

All was well and met our expectations.

We had a memorable stay at the Wonderful Royal Castle. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with soft and comfortable beds. Our room had a stunning view of the River Dart. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially during our family meal in the private dining library. The food at the hotel was excellent, and the overall experience was a pleasure.

The hotel does not have a lift, but it is understandable considering the limited space available. Additionally, car parking can be a challenge at times.

Nothing for me.

The hotel is situated in a prime location, right on the harbour. It is in the centre of town, making it convenient for exploring Dartmouth. Additionally, it is close to the ferry that takes you to Greenway, providing easy access to this beautiful destination. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to assist guests. The breakfast is delicious and there are plenty of options to choose from. There are also complimentary facilities such as tea/coffee, water, and biscuits in the rooms.

There were some issues with the bar/restaurant.

The hotel had beautiful river views that stretched as far as the eye could see. The room was smart and comfortable, offering a great place to relax. The staff were attentive and provided great service throughout our stay.

The valet parking service was a letdown. The hotel's designated parking spot turned out to be a dodgy looking space round the corner from the hotel.

The value for money at Royal Castle was fantastic, and the room provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to everything. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring I had a great experience throughout my stay.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a prime location right in the centre of the charming town, overlooking the estuary. The rooms on the upper floors offer breathtaking views and come with great facilities, including a spa bath. The attention to detail and the lovely view from the rooms make this hotel a great value for money.

The historical ambiance of the hotel was charming and very well decorated. The city center location was super convenient, with several local attractions just a stone throw away. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and modern.

The meal and beverage service didn't really meet our expectations, and the staff seemed disorganized during peak periods. We felt like we've paid a lot for not much in return.
