the staff were friendly and very helpful. the refurbished pub had a traditional feel and my room was spacious, with a super king bed and high-quality bed linen. the food in the restaurant was delicious, and I appreciated that my dog was welcome everywhere in the pub. A special mention goes to the staff who made us sandwiches for our early departure at 4am, along with bottled water, crisps, apples, and chocolate. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

I loved the attention to detail with the organic teas and glass water bottle. The manager was really thoughtful and made sure we had a table for dinner, even though they were busy. The village itself was so peaceful and quiet - a lovely setting. Plus, it was perfect for our four-legged companion!

Had a good stay for New Year's, food and drink were good and staff was friendly. the room was comfy and clean, and the location is near a wedding venue and had an early check-in option. We also enjoyed the nice variety of coffee and tea provided in the room.

The stairwell to the rooms had a musty smell and could use some dusting. the grouting in the shower cubicle needed to be cleaner.

As backpackers, we loved the friendly staff, beautiful building, and comfortable rooms with great beds and bed linen. The added touch of fresh milk provided on request was a lovely gesture. The nearby parking and picturesque surroundings were also a plus.
