Royal Oak Inn was a perfect one-night stop on the way to Cornwall. Host Judy was amazing, accommodating early check-in. Functional and tidy rooms next to a lovely pub. Excellent breakfast for £10. Great location for beautiful walks.

No complaints. Very quiet stay.

I had a blast playing table tennis and darts, feeling like a pro. the restaurant, bar, and garden were my cozy hideouts. I parked like a boss for free. Exeter Airport felt like my private jet hub.

Pity there was no personal chauffeur waiting for my arrival.

Peaceful location, no disturbances, and a comfy bed resulted in a sleep as sound as a hibernating bear, only disturbed by the delightful smell of the morning full English breakfast. It was like waking up in a cozy fairy tale cottage!

I stayed at Royal Oak Inn for a night when my return ferry was delayed. The cozy cottage I had to myself was beautifully presented with ensuite facilities and tea/coffee making in the room. The friendly owners even offered dinner and breakfast options. The village location was picturesque with thatched cottages and an ancient church. The pub had a traditional interior, characterful rooms, and delicious pub grub meals. The whole place was spotlessly clean, and the garden had magnificent views.
