Stayed at a lovely country inn for our walking holiday. the Royal Oak was the perfect choice - traditional, comfortable, and owned by an exceptional landlady. the pub downstairs had a great atmosphere with friendly regulars and their dogs. the ensuite accommodation was clean and the beds were comfy. the breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. It was a wonderful experience in this beautiful border area.

We recently went on a romantic escape and had a wonderful time. the rooms were cozy, perfect for a couple, and the breakfast was cooked to order and absolutely delicious. the location was also great for us, with easy access to nearby shops and attractions.

Sue, the landlady, was an outstanding host at Royal Oak. She ran a traditional country pub with excellent ensuite accommodations. The friendly regulars and their dogs added to the pleasant atmosphere. The location in the beautiful border area was perfect for our walking holiday. Breakfast was also excellent, and the staff made us feel welcome.

Absolutely loved the garden and free WiFi, it made up for the charmless rooms and lack of toiletries. Who needs a towel rail or warm shower anyway? a delightful stay. #sarcasm

The B&B we stayed at was a charming 17th century pub that offered comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. The location was excellent, with a peaceful garden view and a convenient spot for exploring the area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, ensuring our needs were met and promptly resolving any issues. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a spacious shower with adjustable temperature.

The room did show some signs of wear and tear, and the toilet seat was a bit loose, which was a minor inconvenience.
