We had a fantastic stay at this hotel located in a busy street in a traditional area. The special aura of the place makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time, surrounded by respect for traditional values. The room was well appointed, with modern amenities and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had good toiletries. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was nice and the staff attentive. The hotel also offered lovely views and access to gated gardens.

There were some areas of the hotel that could have used a spruce up and the windows need attention to combat condensation.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding - especially considering the August prices in this popular festival city. Secondly, the attentive and friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The basic amenities in the room were well thought out, and the room itself was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with an incredibly cozy bed. Lastly, the location was unbeatable, allowing us to explore the vibrant city on foot. We even had the delightful surprise of being woken up by a bagpipe player late one night, further adding to the unique Scottish experience.

The complimentary soap and shampoo in the room was a nice touch. the free Wi-Fi and breakfast was great. It was located right in the heart of the city, so it was easy to walk to many of the main attractions. Plus, the room had a nice view from the window.

The traditional charm of the Royal Scots Club was evident throughout, making it a wonderful choice for a relaxing stay.
