My recent stay at The Sally was absolutely brilliant. The room was so comfortable and the beds were amazing. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and it was clear that they had thought of everything to ensure their guests' comfort. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and informative about the area. I will definitely be returning and have already recommended this hotel to my colleagues. I highly recommend The Sally.

Lovely rural pub with friendly atmosphere and popular restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with exceptional bathrooms. Would definitely recommend for a pleasant stay.

The rooms were very comfortable and had great amenities. I especially appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker and the fresh milk in the fridge. the location was very convenient for an overnight stay on my business trip. It was easy to get to the main highway and made my travel much easier.

The service at the hotel was quite slow, both for lunch and for drinks.

Located near Hadrian's Wall trail. Excellent food with a varied menu. Free room upgrade and helpful staff. Perfect for walkers.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the fact that fresh milk was provided for our tea and coffee.

It would have been better if parking spaces were reserved for guests, as finding a space can be worrying. the hotel's cancellation policy was inflexible and unaccommodating, making it difficult to cancel our stay due to unforeseen circumstances.

had an amazing stay in carlisle at a lovely country hotel. the staff were welcoming and cheerful, the food was delicious and freshly cooked, and the room was clean and comfortable with great amenities. perfect location for exploring hadrian's wall path.

From the outside, this hotel seemed simple, but upon entering we were enchanted by its sheer elegance and sophisticated decor. the room was a luxurious oasis with exclusive amenities, including a soft and comfortable bed, high, quality toiletries, and a well, stocked minibar. the restaurant served up delicious, freshly, prepared food with impeccable service and an extensive wine selection. the bar had an outstanding collection of spirits and was a great spot to unwind.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the countryside, just 7 miles outside of the city center. Guests can stop off at the restaurant for delicious meals, both for dinner and breakfast. The room and bathroom are of a high standard, with modern decor and tasteful Christmas decorations. The staff are warm and professional, providing a very welcoming experience.

The noise from the kitchen extract fan in some rooms can be quite loud, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Cumbria and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area with stunning views of the Highlands. I was able to witness some beautiful wildlife just outside my window. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. I really enjoyed my time at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

One minor downside was the lack of guaranteed parking spaces for guests. Although I was fortunate to find a spot, it would have been more convenient if spaces were reserved for residents with cars.

The breakfast was great and the restaurant had a lovely ambiance. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to the M6. it was one of the best places we have stayed in.

I had a delightful stay at this cozy pub with rooms located in a quiet rural village. the staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. the room was well-appointed and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that provided a great night's sleep. the highlight was the delicious breakfast, with a wide variety of options and generous portions. I also appreciated the charming touches, such as the cute beanie animal on the bed, used to signal if the room needed cleaning or as a doorstop. the Sally truly exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be returning for another visit.
