Lovely staff, clean and spacious room with modern furniture, great breakfast, perfect location for beach access. a fantastic stay!

The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. Plentiful and delicious breakfasts. Friendly and attentive owners and staff. Perfect location near the seafront.

The location, right on the seafront, was perfect. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Restaurants and amusements were just minutes away.

I got great value for my money at The Sandrock. The room was spacious, clean, and had a modern bathroom. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the beach and close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, making my stay comfortable.

The breakfast selection could have been better, but overall, it was a wonderful stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, providing information on local transportation. The location was quiet and I could sleep with the window open. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel was perfect for my needs. It was just across the road from the seafront and very close to the town centre. Additionally, it was near to the pier, which was a great bonus. The hotel facilities were outstanding, with a warm and inviting reception area and spotlessly clean rooms with en-suite tiled bathrooms. The power shower was fantastic, and all the necessary toiletries were provided. I was impressed by the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated the fact that it was cooked to order. The staff were welcoming, informative, and attentive.

The breakfast offered a variety of options, including a full English cooked to order. The dining room was airy and welcoming. the B&B had parking available and offered views of the pier.

There was one negative aspect during my stay which was a limited parking space available at the property.

We had a fantastic stay at The Sandrock. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. Our room, on the 3rd floor, was spacious, comfortable, and had a great sea view. The location was ideal, near the beach, pier, and other attractions. We enjoyed exploring the town and even took a trip to Colchester. The breakfast, especially the full English, was amazing and plentiful. We highly recommend The Sandrock and look forward to visiting again.

The lack of a lift meant carrying luggage up several flights of stairs, which could be difficult for some guests. The limited on-site parking meant having to find pay for parking elsewhere in the busy area which was not ideal.
