Noisy ground floor duplex apartment.

The highlight of my stay at The Sands was the amazing view from my room. I couldn't get enough of the stunning scenery and it truly made me feel relaxed and at peace. The apartment itself was lovely, with all the necessary amenities and even unexpected bonuses like a welcome pack with breakfast essentials. The location was also perfect, allowing me to easily explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.

The location was perfect for our romantic escape. We were able to enjoy stunning views of the beach and the spacious apartment was clean and modern. We really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made our check-in process smooth. The breakfast hamper we ordered was delicious and the food quality was top-notch. the nearby Blue Crush bar served fantastic food and gave us a discount as guests of the hotel. the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff were the best aspects of our stay.

The constant sounds of revving motorcycles were quite distracting and made it hard to relax. It would have been better if we had been assigned an apartment in a quieter location.

As adventure travelers, we were thrilled with our stay at The Sands. The location was perfect, right at the north bay of Scarborough and just across from the beach. We loved listening to the waves from our room, something very calming about the sound of the sea. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and all the necessary amenities. The service was top-notch, with friendly and welcoming staff. We also enjoyed the proximity to the open air theatre, making it easy to catch a show.

One small downside was the limited selection in the welcome pack.

The welcome was warm and we were escorted from the car park to our room. The room itself was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right on a stunning beach. There are also great amenities nearby, including a bar and restaurant under the hotel, as well as seafront cafes. The apartment had all the necessary facilities and even though we didn't have a sea view, the greenery and bird song were just as lovely. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The location of our stay at The Sands was absolutely fantastic. The apartment was spacious, modern, and had a stunning sea view. The underground parking space provided was secure and convenient. The reception staff were friendly and provided us with all the necessary information during check-in. The cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the cute milk bottle, crisps, and biscuits. The beds were comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was a bonus. We had a great time exploring the main town using the open top bus, which conveniently stopped right outside the apartments.

While our stay was overall excellent, there were a couple of minor issues. The sofa in the apartment felt a bit small and became uncomfortable after a while, especially with two people sitting on it.

The beds were excellent, lovely and warm rooms, tech worked well, helpful staff, fantastic location next to park and beach, thoughtful welcome pack.

Couldn't stay longer.

The Sands exceeded our expectations with its high standard apartments, fixtures and fittings. The beachfront location provided stunning views of North Bay and Castle. Scarborough, with its rich history dating back to the Vikings, offered interesting sites to explore. We also enjoyed the proximity to the North York Moors and the Dales for fantastic walking and cycling. Peasholm Park was a great attraction, especially following the water to its source. The friendly staff made our late check-in smooth and efficient.

Felt so relaxed, there was nothing to complain about.
