I recently stayed at a unique and charming flat called The Secret Garden in central Newark. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to everything in town. To reach the flat, I had to walk through a real secret garden, complete with quirky seating areas and even a summer house. The outdoor space was a real bonus, with a smoking area and hidden seating areas for all guests. The planting was creative and attracted plenty of insects and birds. The host, Robert, was lovely and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The flat itself had a comfortable and clean bed, a kitchen diner where we could cook our own meals, and there were even convenience shops nearby for any last-minute needs. The Secret Garden was a delightful and homely stay that we truly enjoyed.

The cleanliness of the apartment was subpar, with signs of needing a deep clean, especially in the bathroom. The noise from the pub across the street was disruptive and not soundproofed, making it difficult to have a peaceful stay.

The hotel is located just off the market square, making it close to all amenities and the town centre. The cleanliness of the premises was impressive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities are fully equipped and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay.
