The room was absolutely mind-blowing, with a jaw-droppingly large and comfortable bed. It was separate from the pub, so it was super quiet. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the dated but excellent shower was a pleasant surprise. Sarah, the staff, was incredibly helpful, allowing us to check in early for a wedding. The cooked breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. The room had a spacious and cozy feel, complete with a comfortable double bed. The ensuite was a good size, and the kitchenette was a brilliant addition, allowing us to make hot drinks anytime. The continental breakfast had a great selection, including fresh fruit. everything was clean, well-stocked, and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, free parking, bar/lounge area, and restaurant. The electric kettle and cookware/kitchen utensils provided convenience. It was also nice that pets were not allowed and there was no smoking on-site.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the location was excellent. It was within easy driving distance to popular attractions like Cheddar Gorge, Bath, and Stone Henge. Secondly, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even washed our dog towels for us, which was a great gesture of their dog-friendly atmosphere. Lastly, the room was comfortable and well-equipped. The facilities, such as the TV, coffee/tea supplies, and biscuits, provided a decent space to relax in the evenings. The bathroom was also nice, with good towels and a dated but excellent shower.

Finally, we felt that the value for money was not great and that we could have had a better experience elsewhere. we were underwhelmed by our stay and would not recommend this hotel to others.

The location of the hotel was great, just a short distance from Bath which made it convenient for exploring the city. The staff at the pub were friendly and accommodating, and the menu had a good selection of options to choose from. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was the availability of vegan options on the menu, which was a bonus for me.
